Earlier this fall, we had the wonderful opportunity to work with a group of incredible DFW wedding vendors and show off a lovely new venue. When we photographed Calli’s bridal session at Stillwater Meadow back in March, it was still mostly a construction site. When we saw the finished product of this classic Texas chapel & barn duo, we were pretty smitten.

We don’t do “styled shoots” very often at all anymore, but this one spoke to our hearts. The theme “It’s About Time” was mine (Chelsea), but the vendors listed below truly brought the vision to life.

Isn’t Stillwater Meadow LOVELY? Besides the chapel (which can be open air if desired), and a two story reception space with deliberate design & detailing, there’s also an adorable “getting ready” house with several bedrooms, as well as a more masculine “bunk house” prep area perfect for hanging around waiting for the girls to get ready. 🙂 We know they’re already working on ways to make the space even better as the years move forward, and we’re looking forward to seeing it climb up our list of favorite places.

If you’re looking for a 2017/2018 wedding venue, Stillwater Meadow is one to add to your list. And if you need help starting a list, I know for a fact that there’s a photography team that keeps a pretty fantastic running list of places they love….
