Chelsie & Brandon were married last Saturday at A&M Gardens in Azle, and despite a constant threat of storms, the entire day was absolutely gorgeous. This venue is one of my new favorites… the ceremony space, all the options for portraits, and then a nice big reception room… it was all completely dreamy. But better than that were the people. All day long, Mack and I were hugged and chatted with and treated like old friends. We definitely left this wedding counting our blessings, grateful to work with such amazing people.
Chelsie wasn’t necessarily calm all day, but she was confident. No matter what came up, her optimism was unshakeable. At the end of the day, she was going to be married to the love her life. Their new family would start a journey that would continue for the rest of their lives. When faced with that wonderful goal, how could she let something like the weather bother her?
We started our day shooting a few details, and some “getting ready” images. One thing I’ll say for the stormy weather… the cloud cover made shooting outside feel like cheating. The light was SO gorgeous!
I love these shoes. LOVE. (And for the few gals that asked about them from the bridal post, they’re Steve Madden, and I believe she got them at DSW.)
Can’t leave out the bridesmaid pretties… love these green shoes, too!
Chelsie, I’m not trying to move in on your man or anything… but seriously. Brandon is SO handsome! Shooting him was so easy. Thanks for being a dreamboat. 🙂
I love being able to say that Chelsie’s dress was quite literally made for her. I can’t get over the amazing work her mom did on this gown. STUNNING!
Let’s get to the First Sight! It’s one of my favorites of the year. These two are just so sweet on each other…
Portrait locations around A&M Gardens are in no short supply. This sunken garden is so twisty & turny… everywhere you look there’s a new gorgeous angle!
Brandon knew his job… to love on his bride, and keep her giggling. He did his job well!
When it was time for the ceremony to begin, these dapper young gentlemen helped hand out programs. Seriously? I’ll take 100 of them, as long as you stay that cute.
Love this little look Chelsie gave her mom as she was walking down the aisle :
The man that did the reading during the ceremony was an absolute HOOT. Everyone in attendance laughed just as hard as Chelsie & Brandon did.
Man & Wife!!
See… I told you it was gorgeous!
Come back tomorrow, and we’ll share a few reception details, lots of dancing, and some portraits with a beeeeeeautiful getaway car. Don’t miss it!
