One of the things we were thankful for this past weekend was great clients, and Niki & Greg definitely fall into that category. They were so patient to wait a few extra days on their blog because of the holiday… I hope this long post today is a good reward!![]()
Niki & Greg were married Saturday, Nov. 19th in Fort Worth. They held their ceremony at the always-lovely Marty Leonard Chapel, and their reception at the BRIT (Botanic Research Institute of Texas). They were surrounded by an exceptionally tight-knit group of family and friends, and no matter how windy it was or how far things were running behind… everywhere we looked, there was nothing but smiles. Because the wind couldn’t stop Niki & Greg from getting married, and neither could a few extra minutes on the highway. NOTHING was going to get in the way of this couple making their love official, and we were honored to be there as they made those important promises.
The day started with Niki at the Sheraton Hotel, in downtown Fort Worth, for a little beautification. Let’s start our coverage there, too!

Shannon, of Something You Makeup Artistry, was on hand to make sure all the ladies looked their absolute best. I love Shannon’s work… I want to hire her to come make me pretty every day.

It’s also nice to have someone else around who knows all the different kinds of bustles. Usually it’s ME under there giving the lesson!![]()

Because we had limited time at the Chapel, I wanted to make sure to get every bit of loveliness I could out of the beautiful architecture. I love the strong backdrop it made for Niki & Greg’s First Sight!

Greg’s cufflinks are some of the coolest we’ve seen all year. I love when the grooms get to have fun little touches of style, too!

The ring bearer was getting a bit bored, as you can see below…

… so we let him be the star of the show for a minute!

And then, it was time to get married!

Mr. & Mrs. Lacy!

Mack and I raced up the road toward the BRIT so we could photograph the reception details before all the guests arrived. The uplighting provided by Jabel Productions really perfected the look of the room!

Congratulations, Greg & Niki! It was a pleasure to work with you this year, and we’re so excited for you to start this new part of your journey together. We hope you had a fabulous first married Thanksgiving!

You’re right, gorgeous smiles all around! I thought the beginning detail shots (as well as the ring shots) were killer!
