a good weekend

This has been a really great weekend.

Friday night, we successfully surprised my folks by flying my California sister in for their 25th anniversary and Thanksgiving. I’m so looking forward to having our family all together for the first Thanksgiving in several years.

This morning, I enjoyed a moving church service with my family. Now, I’ll take a nap. Later, I’ll eat my weight at the Morgan Mill Baptist Church annual Thanksgiving Feast… and will not feel ashamed.

And then, even later, I’ll see the 10 p.m. show of New Moon. Finally. Third time’s a charm!

So, you can see, this whole weekend’s been pretty great. That includes Amanda & Kase’s wedding yesterday in Arlington. They, and you, will have to wait a few days to see my full blog post. But I thought that in honor of a great weekend, I’d post what I feel is a really great portrait.
