McG senior sessions are rare. In fact, this is the only one we booked all year (at least so far). So when Olivia’s mom inquired with us about shooting her daughter’s senior portraits, she said, “I know you don’t usually do this, but…”
No worries, Mom. We were happy to take this one. See, Olivia is special. We’ve only been around her a few times (she’s one of my oldest friend’s wife’s baby sister… get all that?), but we like her spirit. She’s a spunky, vivacious girl, and we were happy to be part of the celebration of her senior year.
We met up in downtown Fort Worth last week and WHEW! It was a complete wind tunnel down there! Everywhere we turned, wind whipped everyone’s hair around and nearly knocked Olivia down on more than one occasion. Well, wind and all, I think the session turned out beautifully, and we all had a blast.
Your senior year is going to be incredible, Olivia… and so are the years after it!
Olivia is quite a talented ukelele player… plus, she looks adorable with it.
This next image is what 18 feels like, to me. Or at least, what it SHOULD feel like. Carefree, beautiful, wind-in-your-hair. I just love it.
