From my first conversation with Ann, I knew I liked her. The very first email included flower inspiration and a picture of her dress and such unbridled enthusiasm for her event… I couldn’t help but be excited for her, too! She said, “This isn’t just any anniversary party. This is the wedding I always wanted. I don’t do things halfway.”
And ladies & gentlemen, she certainly doesn’t. No single detail was overlooked, and finally, after 20 years together, Ann & Jay got the wedding they always wanted. Watching these two awesome people reaffirm their commitment to each other… promising anew to love each other BIGGER and BETTER… the whole day was just a heart-warming experience. Mack and I were honored to be a part of this!
Today, I’m sharing my favorite images from the first half of the day, all shot in and around the historic YWCA in downtown Fort Worth!

Ann did a Girls On Film book for her husband’s anniversary present… I’m happy to testify to a fantastic reaction.![]()

Ann & Jay’s son and daughter-in-law were their attendants, with their grandchildren serving as ring bearer and flower girl. I just love how they kept it all in the family!

Ann made her own bouquet, with scraps from her original wedding dress as well as her mother’s antique wedding gown. So sentimental and perfect!

The couple did a hand washing ceremony, to signify washing away any mistakes that had been made over the last 20 years, and being given a fresh clean start.

YAY! So much joy in this moment!
Come back tomorrow to see all the beautiful reception details that Ann put together, as well as our favorite moments from their big party.![]()

Halley - This is the sweetest thing. Your pictures are beautiful. I will be dreaming of having a heartfelt ceremony like this 20 years from now
Natalie - So beautiful! I loved the custom wedding bouquet and also the hand washing ceremony. Lovely details!
ann - Oh wow Chelsea – LOVE them. But it’s as clear as day in why we had issues with the aisle decor – glad you got “before” pics!!! And can I just say again how blessed we were to have you and Mack there to capture this for us and share the day with us!!
bobbileigh - I had to look at these a couple of times before I could comment. The pure joy and their faces just shows why they are celebrating 20 years. I loooove the kissing pic with the buildings in the backgrounds! It was an honor to be there and I am so glad I get to relive it today and tomorrow through the eyes of my fave photogs!
Liesa - I love love love everything about this! It’s so special! I hope Rob and I can do the same one day!
