iPhone-ography : Las Vegas edition

As our plane drew nearer to DFW and the captain told us of 110 degree temperatures at home, I groaned. Mack said comfortingly, “Don’t worry… we left the AC units on in the house and office. It won’t take them long to cool down.” We walked into our house and were greeted by a cool burst of air and the sounds of home, and I slept like a rock.

Then yesterday afternoon, I went to the office to wade through my mountain of emails and try to get some of our personal pictures edited so I could share a bit of vacation with you today. Lo and behold, the window unit that cools our office had died. And suddenly, the 107 degrees it was outside didn’t seem so bad, because at least the front porch had a breeze. I barely lasted two hours in there before I gave up, and moved what I could into a makeshift office in our kitchen at home. Yeesh.

The good news is that we’ll be back in the office soon. The better news is that next week, I’ll have personal pictures from Las Vegas, all the favorites from our Desert Photo Shoot, and (most importantly) Katie & Sean’s wedding to share. That’s right, a full five-day-schedule of blog prettiness is coming your way, starting bright and early Monday morning.

It didn’t seem right to end the week on a downer note, though, so we’re sharing our favorite iPhone snaps from the trip. You guys are probably all aware of my complete and unapologetic addiction to Instagram… thank goodness we traveled with two other couples who are also proud iPhone 4s ‘grammin’ fools.:)Whether inside, outside, eating, partying, or gambling, someone ALWAYS had an iPhone out and ready to capture the moment…

The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay is ALWAYS a fave.:)

We say “Zumanity” on Monday night. I won’t go into too much detail, but I’ll say two very important things…  1) It’s NOT for the faint of heart. 2) It’s the best show I’ve ever seen evereverever.

Are they people who go to Las Vegas and don’t shop? I’ve certainly never met one.

These friends… these wonderful wonderful people. We made plans for annual adventures like these, and I’m SO excited to get started planning the 2013 group trip!

Have a happy weekend, everyone! We hope the full blog week starting Monday will be greeted with lots of internet hugs and kisses… we’ve missed you guys!:)
