You scared us all when you decided to have your grand entrance five and a half weeks early! I’m so very glad that you are healthy and strong… and you’re handsome, which will come in handy in life. Hearing you growl and sigh when I was playing with you last week made my heart so happy.
You’re a miracle, did you know that? You were prayed for before you even started baking, and don’t you think for a second that those prayers will stop now. So many of us already love you so very much.
No one in the world will love you more than your parents, though. God sure blessed your little life when he picked out your Mommy & Daddy. Your Mommy is truly the kindest, gentlest, most joyful person I’ve ever met in my life. Your Daddy is strong and loyal and takes such good care of your Mommy. You will never want for love or support, or snuggles.
Sweet Asher, thank you so much for being a sweetheart and playing so nice during your newborn portraits. It did my spirit so much good to spend that time with you, and I know your parents will treasure these pictures forever.
Keep working on that mohawk, and I’ll see you soon!
(One of the very best things in the world is when people I love have babies. Hilary was one of my very best friends in high school, and I thank God often for her influence in my life. I hope y’all enjoy looking at these newborn portraits as much as I enjoyed shooting them!)
Congratulations again, Hilary & Cody. He’s gorgeous! Can’t wait to see him grow up.
Blogstalkers, we’ve got a wedding ready to show off tomorrow… see you then!
