Happy New Year, readers!
If Facebook and my inbox are to be believed, everyone and their little sister got engaged over the Christmas holiday. Can I get a WOO HOO? 
As of today, more than half our openings for 2010 weddings have been officially filled, with three more tentative dates just waiting on contracts. That’s a huge margin of improvement over last year, and I’m so thrilled!
Given this increased interest, I thought it best to go ahead and update you guys as to our availability! Keep in mind, this only refers to Saturday availability. We’re always interested in Friday and Sunday weddings, and have lots of availability for those dates throughout the summer and fall.
Also, we still have weekday availability here and there in the spring, and plenty in the summer.
Onto the dates!
The last Saturday of both January is available for portrait sessions.
February, March and April Saturdays are completely booked.
The last Saturdays of both May and June have been ogled, but not officially booked. So we’ll consider them open until I’ve got deposit in hand! Other than that… no Saturday availability those two months.
We have one wedding slot open in July.
On into the fall and winter, we have at least one wedding spot open each month. October only has one slot left, and November threatens to book fairly quickly as well.
So… now you know! McGowan Images 2010 calendar is filling up beautifully, but we’d love to add YOUR wedding to that roster! Give us a call, let’s set up a meeting, and we’ll dazzle you with our sparkling personalities and killer sample albums, k?
OH — and another note. The wedding that we thought was going to fulfill our “give us a vacation” Super Deal for 2010 fell through. So that offer still stands. Recap: The first people to book us for a beach wedding won’t have to buy a package. Pay for our flight + hotel and a small munchy stipend (basically, the same deal you’re giving family), and buy your album if you want one. That’s it!
