School starts back today, so even though the temperatures would argue otherwise, I consider summer to officially be OVER. No more lazy Monday mornings at the pool, no more jaunting off for a few days at the lake. Womp womp, the end of summer is always kind of a bummer. (RHYME!)
We finished out our summer wedding season in Southlake last Friday with Lara & David, who were married at Lara’s home church. Because the wedding night was also Lara’s last night as a Texas resident (she’s moving to California with her new husband), the event was full of lots of mixed emotions. Overwhelmingly, though, there was joy. Joy because David & Lara had waited so long to find each other, and when they finally did, the timing was absolutely perfect.
We’ll have lots more pretties to share from this event on Friday, but here’s some favorite moments to get everyone excited for the week ahead!

Isn’t that last image classic? Love.
Come back tomorrow, kids… we’ll be sharing our favorite images from a McG first : A surprise proposal!![]()
