Yesterday, we shared our favorite moments from the first half of Lacy & Tyler’s gorgeous backyard wedding. We ended that blog post as the sun was sinking down, right after the couple had been pronounced husband & wife.
And you know what that means? Portraits galore!
Lacy & Tyler laid out the timeline of their day in such a way to capture the best light for their portraits, and invested a lot of time in making sure we had the freedom to capture those moments. To them, this quiet time to just be together was so monumentally important… which is one of the reasons we like them so much.![]()
Enjoy!

This private home in the Montserrat neighborhood of Fort Worth just made it onto my list of favorite wedding venues. Seriously. I could shoot three more weddings there before I had to start thinking about taking the same shot over again. Simply STUNNING property.

Before I sent Lacy & Tyler up the stairs and out of earshot, I told them I was looking for something that would feel “very Jack & Rose”. Of COURSE Lacy immediately knew what I was talking about. I love our clients.

As I said yesterday, floral for this wedding was provided by Kate Foley Designs, and really helped to amp up the already lush decor of this home.

Thank you, DJ Delray, for some great reception tunes & lighting!

With a yummy full moon coming up, we had to step outside for some gorgeous after-dark portraits…

This is a game I’d never seen before… while the William Tell Overture plays in the background, the bride & groom race to see who can unroll the toilet paper first, and thus assert their dominance as head of household. I think it’s pretty clear who won that battle.![]()

YAY!
Lacy & Tyler, we hope you’ve had a fantabulous time on your surprise honeymoon in St. Lucia. You truly made this day all about the things that mattered, and it was a complete honor for us to be a part of it. A thousand congratulations, friends!
