From the consultation meeting to the bridal session and everywhere in between, Lindsey kept saying, “I can’t wait for y’all to meet Matt. You’re just going to love him.” And really, we had no reason to doubt that. After all, we just adore Lindsey, and we were pretty sure she wouldn’t have agreed to marry someone who didn’t fit right in with her irreverent, effervescent self. But still, there’s always the worry that maybe someone won’t live up to the hype…
Even that small concern was alleviated the second we met Matt. He had only been back home for a few days, and was being pulled in a hundred directions in the rush leading up to the wedding… but still, he had his heart in the right place. He was ready to get down to the business of lovin’ on his beautiful bride. We had a fantastic time getting to know this couple, and I think the time we spent together on Wednesday night laid the groundwork for what was a fantastic working relationship on their wedding day!
Enjoy some of our favorites from their sunset country session…

As I mentioned yesterday, Matt is currently serving our country in the United States Marine Corps. I just love the feeling these images have… and love a man in uniform.![]()

Isn’t Lindsey’s second outfit fabulous? That skirt is actually a dress that she found for $5 on a clearance rack and cut up to make it a skirt. I’m jealous of her crafty ways.

LOVE!
Come back tomorrow to see a few of Lindsey’s bridal portraits… it’s a busy week around here!
