In talking to Rachel & Travis before their engagement session, we discussed several different location options. I suggested the Fort Worth Stockyards because of the variety of background options and gorgeous light this time of year, and after Rachel’s reaction, I knew we had a winner. See, Travis bought a pair of boots down in the Stockyards when he was 16 years old, and he wears them to this day. Rachel said if their house was ever on fire, she’d grab his boots first… that’s how special they are to him, and therefore, to her.
We’re shooting this adorable couple’s wedding next March, and we’re so excited for the classic relaxed affair at the Dallas Arboretum!
We started off the engagement session playing a little with Rachel & Travis’s beloved dog, Katie. She wasn’t thrilled about taking pictures, but all our silly noises got her attention when necessary!![]()

Such a sweet little family!

Isn’t Rachel stunning? Once again, I’ve found myself with a serious case of skin envy.

So sweet! Congratulations, you two!
Blogstalkers, prepare your eyes for tomorrow. If you’re a morning reader, maybe ice coffee instead of the regular hot stuff. Why? Because I’ll be sharing a few images from a recent styled boudoir shoot, and linking over to the Girls on Film blog for the entire collection. You’ve been warned… we’ll see you then!
