Yep, that’s right, a double header! And we (Chelsea) also shot a boudoir marathon on Sunday. WHEW! While y’all are up early drinkin’ coffee and getting your blog fix on, we’re trying to catch up on a little much needed sleep. Thank goodness for the ability to schedule blog posts in advance.
It’s October 1st. September, the craziest month EVER, has been conquered. And this month, we’ve got two international destination weddings, in addition to two gorgeous DFW weddings. The party never ends.
But hey, now I’m getting ahead of myself. What you’re REALLY here to see are some goodies from this weekend’s weddings, and ya know what? I don’t blame you. Even though the rain messed with the plan a little on Saturday, we ended up with two stunning, unique events, and we can’t wait to share more from both of them!
We started our weekend with Jordyn & Joey in Decatur on Friday morning. If you follow us on Facebook, you’ve seen some sneak peeks of this wedding already. I know I’m not “supposed” to have favorites, but if I could break that rule, this wedding would be one. Top 3 weddings we’ve ever shot, EASY. I’ll be sharing TONS more from this intimate, handmade event on Friday… and don’t you dare miss it.
And on Saturday, our gears changed completely for Nicole & Cason’s wedding! Even with everything moved inside because of a much-needed Texas late-summer rain, spirits remained high, and the day was absolutely gorgeous. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the mother of the bride is a wickedly talented florist… The Orchard in Azle was an explosion of purple, and our couple danced the rainy night away!

I want to see them all now =P I’m so glad and thankful that our crazy change of plans worked out with y’all too because I don’t know what I would do without beautiful images like these…I LOVE them!!! abby - I cannot WAIT to see more of both of these weddings!!! I adore a wedding that can be adorably wonderful while still focusing on the bride and groom and their love. That violin/fiddle picture made me cry.
Since purple is my favorite color and those flowers are to. die. for… This wedding makes me excited!! They look so perfect for each other and that reception looks like too much fun!
