Hannah & Eric : Wedding Pt. 1

I was talking to Hannah a few days before the wedding, asking her about all the little last minute things, and about her stress level. She admitted to some stress about logistics… hopes that everyone would get along, and that the weather would cooperate. “But,” she said, “As long as I’m married at the end of the day, that’s all that matters.” Hannah talks about Eric like he hung the moon. She says he’s close to perfect, but not so close that she’s uncomfortable. She says he’s the most gentle, forgiving spirit she’s ever met. She says he’s the best friend anyone could ask for. And in talking about his new bride, Eric returns the favor… unable to keep from gushing about how amazing she is.

And so, although it was chilly when they walked toward each other for their First Sight, spirits were high. They could finally see each other. And together, they’d walk into the next moments, completely prepared to be husband & wife.

Enjoy some of our favorite images from the first half of their wedding day!

Over the past year and some change, Mack and I have grown to kind of adore Hannah & her family. I’m pretty sad the wedding is over, actually… and I’m not shy at all about encouraging little sister Sophie to get engaged soon.:)

Hannah started crying happy tears before she even made it out of the Bridal Suite on the way to her First Sight… so much happy in these precious, intimate moments!

Groomsmen may or may not have been hootin’ & hollerin’ from their view on the patio… (ok, they were)

Even though there was a mid-40s wind chill on the lake, Hannah & Eric were total troopers during their portraits. Hannah kept saying, “I’d rather be cold than sweaty!”… and ain’t that the truth.:)Plus, I think these portraits were totally worth some goose bumps in the process!

Such a fantastic & fun wedding party…

In the minutes before the ceremony start time, the groom copied his vows from his iPhone, and the bride prayed with her favorite group of women…

The families pooled together and set blankets out amongst the chairs, so all the guests wouldn’t have to freeze. But the bridesmaids just kind of had to tough it out, and man, they did such a great job. This maid of honor’s smile never wavered!

Hannah & Eric had a relatively long ceremony with several songs, and this gentleman did a fantastic job singing all of them! I seriously just kind of want to bring him to our weddings to sing to me all the time.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Scott!

Aw, yay! Dancing back up the aisle to “Oh, Happy Day!”

Come back tomorrow for Part 2… lots more to see!

Priscilla - I adore this bride’s vision for her day! And, I’m kind of obsessed with her jewelry…and the maid of honor’s. Any idea where the beautiful earrings and bracelets are from? It’s exactly what I’m looking to purchase for my big day in January!

Hannah - @Priscilla- thank you soon much!!!! I’m the bride and my bracelet is from Nordstrom, it’s Givenchy. My earrings are from Sam Moon lol and then my little sisters earrings are a family heirloom and all of the bridesmaids bracelets are from j crew. Givenchy has beautiful wedding jewelry and is at most department stores just FYI. Hope that helps!!!
