Bristyn & Riley’s engagement portraits were originally scheduled to be next month, but a change in job schedules meant we had to move them up somewhat last minute. I obviously don’t know yet what early November weather will be like, but I can tell you I’m thrilled to pieces with the soft gorgeous sun we had for this session last week. We met the couple at the Brazos River, and had such a good time just walking around and getting to know them better. I honestly think that’s my favorite thing about an engagement session… by the end of it, there’s no more picture anxiety. We’re just friends hanging out, and we happen to be taking some killer pictures. No big deal, right?
Here are some of my favorites!
Maybe it’s because I married a big guy, but I always love photographing small brides snuggled up against their big strapping grooms. I know from experience that being cuddled like that is about the best thing in the world.
Bristyn & Riley, we’re so glad we get to celebrate with you over the months ahead. Be sure to slow down and enjoy this part… it goes so fast!
