Sydney & Joel’s Fort Worth engagement session has been my hottest session so far this year, but I think it just served as good practice for this cute couple. They’re getting married next June in Atlanta, so I’m sure they’ll have their share of scorching portrait experiences!
Sydney wanted to get her engagement portraits done before she leaves to study abroad, and I don’t blame her. I know the stress of a bride planning a wedding from a few hundred miles, so I can’t imagine planning a wedding from another country!
The couple wanted to include their fur baby in some of their portraits, and these turned out WAY better than I expected! I’ll admit right here up front that photographing animals makes me nervous, and I was afraid that Miss Zoey would throw me totally off my game. Now that it’s over, I’m a little bummed that I wasted so much time being worried about her… these pictures are positively adorable!
When Zoey’s turn in pictures was done, she got to play with one of our past brides, Lauren. Have I mentioned lately how much I love it when brides tell other brides about McGowan Images? 
These last images were taken after a change of outfits and venues.
I’m trying to get better about remembering to take headshots of my clients during their engagement sessions. I almost always do it, but it sometimes slips my mind. I’m hoping that if I blog the headshots of these two pretty people, my clients will remind me in the future that they need their own “Facebook Shot”!
