Jenny & Josh are such troopers. The weather on the morning of their session was gorgeous, but the forecast called for rain and dropping temperatures. When I called to check in, Jenny said they wanted to go ahead with the shoot, weather be darned! So we packed up and headed to meet them in Granbury.
While we didn’t get rain, we did get our first bone-chillingly-cold shoot of the season. The wind was absolutely bruising, it was so hard, and the temperature dropped 15 degrees from the beginning of our shoot ’til the end. That didn’t stop these cute kids from lovin’ on each other, though. We had a great time getting to know them, and are excited about their wedding in late June!
Enjoy just a few of my favorites…
We were challenged to look for places that were an oasis from the wind… we got lucky with a few spots behind the Hilton Garden Inn on the lake!
But then, on the boardwalk out over the water, there was no protection from the frigid wind… before they posed, Jenny & Josh had to cuddle for warmth!
A fun sequence with “Save the Date” written all over it.
Thank you guys so much for being champs about the cold weather… at least you know it’s guaranteed to be warm in June!
