Happy Friday, indeed!
One of our favorite summer wedding couples finds themselves all sorts of blogged on the first day of April! We’re thrilled to be a “Featured Wedding Pro” on Groom Sold Separately this morning, and get to show off once again how fun Jen&Ross’s engagement session was!
This session is a great example of what can happen when a bride puts effort into making the pictures very personal! There’s absolutely nothing wrong with showing up to an engagement session with nothing but cute clothes, a big smile, and your fiance… after all, you’re paying your photographer to pose you and help you look natural! But when a bride goes a little further, and thinks of props that mean something to the couple, it makes all the difference in the world. A bit of a theme can help a couple relax more in the portrait setting, and props give you something to pose around. Most importantly, when you come up with an idea that is uniquely YOU, you can guarantee that your engagement portraits won’t look like anyone else’s!
So, whether you’re a McG bride or not, think outside the box a little! Ask your photographer for ideas, or scour the internet to come up with your own. The work will pay off, I promise.
Hop over to Groom Sold Separately and comment on the post. You’ll make Jen & Ross feel like rock stars.
